 Artificial Intelligence is the science and engineering of making intelligent machines. 

Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence are way too much trending nowadays. Machine Learning (ML) is commonly used beside AI but they are not the same. ML is a subset of AI. Most AI work now includes ML because intelligent behavior requires significant education, and learning is the most obvious way to get that knowledge.

Machine Learning (ML) is a subset of Artificial Intelligence. It is a science of creating and implementing algorithms that can learn things from past circumstances. Machine Learning is the best way to make progress towards human-level AI.

AI is all about learning, problem-solving & thinking where ML us about learning & learning from behavior, definition, codes & being told. Both complement each other.  

Yet there are a few differences between them. 

• AI is the technology that allows a machine to imitate human behavior & ML is a subset of AI that allows learning from past data without programming explicitly.

• In AI, intelligent systems are made to perform tasks like humans & ML, machinesare taught to perform a particular task using data and to give precise results.

• AI has a wide range of scope whereas Ml has limited scope.

• AI is focused on maximizing the success chances & ML is mainly focused on accuracy.

• AI deals with Structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data where ML deals with Structured and semi-structured.

Many Artificial Intelligence Companies are developing Softwares to be helpful in real life such as Attendance System Using AI, COVID-19 Monitoring System, Quality Assurance Using AI, Vision-based Traffic Management System Using AI, Mask Detection application in CCTV, and so on.

There are other points in which both differentiate from each other though it is amazing when they work together.

Let say Netflix, using machine learning to choose its enormous collection of TV shows and movies & recommend the one we want to watch.

• Place suggestions: Based on review-ratings & our interests, when your search for any business, restaurants, hospitals, gyms, salon & whatnot, we are being suggested with reviews and photos. It helps to decide easily with enough information like timing & location about the place you want to go to.

• Healthcare: Some hospitals are using AI & ML for analysis of patient's condition based on their medical reports, their information, claims, financial data. Also, some applications help caretakers to foretell which patients will get sick so they can save their lives and money too.

• Auto Driving Cars: The main purpose of AI & ML is to make cars that can be droved automatically without a human where AI can assist & ML can sense the surroundings and predict how other cars function.

• Email Marketing: It is possible now to send targeted emails because of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning using personalized and customized content. Even we can send bulk emails automatically on scheduled time if we want and analyze the data.

• Social Media Posts: Earlier social media posts were showed bases on recent posts. But in that case, some posts were missed out by users for which they are interested in. Posts are shown now based on what each user engages more.

• Sales & Marketing: Hubspot is the best example. It allows businesses to gain insights about their customers and responses to your activities. This helps them to perform better marketing tasks & also for leads, on which customers to focus more so that they can inform the sales team.

More on this, popular platforms like Netflix, YouTube, Spotify provides recommendations based on what you want to listen to or watch. It is possible only because they use Machine Learning for data collection and studying your interests and AI is an application of ML. We can say they don't exist without each other.
